Jenga Earthquake Table
NU Toys: Club Project (2017)
PROBLEM STATEMENT:
Construct a randomly vibrating base table for a game to Jenga to increase the game's difficulty.
CONSTRAINTS:
Budget limited to $50. Due to fall e-board responsibilities I set myself a deadline to finish this project before 09/2017, leaving about one month to complete the first prototype.

Optical Diagnostic Device Prototype
Fikst: Client Development Project
PROBLEM STATEMENT:
Design and build an early-stage, aesthetically pleasing mechanical enclosure to house the electronics for an optical system. Additionally, design and control a backlighting system for these initial prototypes.
MECHANICAL DESIGN:
- Designed system housing in SolidWorks, where I learned and practiced master modeling
- Machined baseplates on a 3-axis CNC mill and made 3D printed enclosures

ELECTRICAL DESIGN:
- Used drivers capable of driving multiple LEDs at different intensities
- Soldered custom boards for LED control
This project helped me improve my electrical prototyping skills. I was especially proud of the soldering on this board!
SKILLS GAINED:
- Master modeling in SolidWorks
- Troubleshooting machining setups and CAM
- LED control
- Circuit design
- Electrical board layout
- Improved soldering skills
